A classic Côte de Beaune Grand Cru red Burgundy with layers of ripe fruits and spices, showing great potential for aging.
Grapes are hand harvested from 40 year old vines, fermented in open vats, before aging for 10-12 months in French oak barrels (35% new)
Another brilliant classic red Burgundy from a Côte de Beaune Grand Cru vineyard. Layers of ripe red and blue fruits, baking spices, with hints of earthy flavors and aromas. Fantastic now, but likely a lot better a decade from now.
Dried strawberries with dried flowers and crushed stones on the nose. So enticing and fascinating. Full-bodied with a compact, tight palate of ripe yet cool and fine fruit. Complex finish of dried spice, such as nutmeg, together with fruit and light earth. A beauty already. Better after 2023.
Seductive aromas of rose, blueberry and boysenberry highlight this well-defined, incisive red. It has latent power and builds to a long, expansive, mineral-tinged finish. Fine purity and structure. Best from 2024 through 2043.
