A structured and silky Beaujolais Cru
Grapes from 50 year old vines are hand harvested and hand sorted, then undergo traditional carbonic maceration, 30% whole cluster, before being aged in a mix of casks and barrels (70% in casks, 30% in 2-5 year old barrels) for 11 months
Sourced from the most prestigious Beaujolais cru, this wine offers a captivating profile of black cherry, violet, and smoky minerality. The color is a vibrant ruby. The nose is intense and expressive, unveiling pure aromas of ripe black cherry, crushed raspberry, peony, and a distinctive graphite/flint note characteristic of the Côte du Py. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, silky, and concentrated. Fine tannins and a vibrant acidity frame the black fruit flavors and subtle spice. The finish is long, mineral, and incredibly elegant. A wine of great finesse. Delicious!
