This is a blend of near equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot coming from perhaps the greatest vineyards in the world for those 2 varietals. This is just a complex web of powerful flavors and aromas that evolve with each sip. Don't take our word for it, though, this one has a long line of 100 point or near perfect scores from critics the world over.

Deep dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Multi-faceted bouquet with underlying minerality, ripe cherry notes, discreet herbal savouriness, delicately floral, some nougat and noble wood. Taut and closely meshed on the palate, dark berry fruit with perfectly ripe sweetness, elegant structure, pithy and salty on the finish. Multilayered and extremely long.

This could be the wine of the vintage! Profound in every sense, the wine smells like you walked into a flower shop carrying a bushel of just picked red and black pit fruits and berries and your pockets were filled with an array of spices, herbs, cocoa, spearmint and thyme. If that didn't seal the deal, the breathtaking purity in the fruit along with the non-stop layers of sweet, vivacious red fruits with their silky, sexy, erotic textures will. The seamless finish does not seem to quit. The wine blends 54% Cabernet Franc with 46% Merlot.
