A versatile and easy-drinking Châteauneuf-du-Pape featuring ripe blue and red fruits, licorice, and tobacco notes, offering great value.
Harvested, destemmed, 2-3 weeks of maceration and fermentation in concrete, before aging for 18 months in vats and barrels
Wine makers are authorized to use 13 grapes in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape sub-region of the Rhone Valley. Most focus on Grenache and while that is the primary grape here, the winemaker uses all of the others, including the white varietals. In the end, this wine is an easy drinker with a lot going on. Ripe blue and red fruits along with licorice and tobacco notes come together well. What a great value Châteauneuf-du-Pape!
Stylish and pure, with exuberant boysenberry, plum sauce and cherry flavors that spill out on the silky palate. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, Counoise, Terret, Picpoul, Muscardin, Picardan, Bourboulenc, Clairette and Roussanne. Drink now through 2032.
