A rich, layered Sardinian red with notes of dark berries, cedar, and chocolate, boasting impressive structure and aging potential.

Sardinia is known for 2 grapes, Vermentino and this here Cannonau. Cannonau is the same as Grenache or Garnacha. We wanted to bring you a wine representative of just how good Sardinian Cannonau can be and this one really delivers the goods. Ripe dark fruits, cocoa, dried herbs, great tannin, all lending to a great mouthfeel and an overall fantastic wine drinking experience. Delish!
A rich and layered red with so much berry, cedar, chocolate and bark character. It’s medium- to full-bodied with a tight center palate and a flavorful finish. Starts out intense and then finishes very fine and focused. A blend of 85% cannonau, 10% carignano and 5% bovale. Better in three or four years, but already gorgeous.
Nuances of cedar and pine give way to rum-soaked cherry, cinnamon and dusty rose as the 2020 Turriga makes itself known in the glass. This is elegant and polished in feel with silken textures and cool-toned acidity. Tart wild berry fruits combine with hints of rosemary and sour citrus in the mouth. The 2020 leaves a pleasantly grippy feel and a bitter tinge as it finishes with remarkable length and potency. Turriga was once such a large-scale and brooding wine, but it has transformed into a model of well-measured power.
