A highly-rated Oregon Pinot Noir featuring vibrant cherry and dark fruit flavors complemented by hints of coffee bean.
Grapes were harvested from 3 estate vineyards and fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels
We don't have too many Oregon PInots in our cellar and picked this one up to try as it earned a 95-point rating. It did not disappoint. Great cherry with some darker fruits on the nose and palate with hints of coffee bean that really compliment.
This wine is generous, deep and complex, offering dazzling subtlety and detail. Cherry, mixed berry and plum fruit blends with further details of sassafras, coffee and toast. Paul Gregutt
Such attractive aromas of spiced bread and blueberries, blackberries and violets with a stony, minerally edge, as well as dried herbs and forest wood. The palate is very rich and packed with darker plums and cherries, as well as blackberries, some cocoa and a long, seamless run of fine yet dense tannin. This hits luxurious notes on the palate. Fine to drink now, but even better from 2023.
