A high-quality, dry Pinot Grigio from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, featuring pronounced citrus and mineral notes, great acidity, and a lush finish, all for under $30.
Most of our Pinot Grigio comes from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy as we think these are the best dry versions of the Pinot Gris grape in the world. This one comes from the Colli Orientali sub-region, which usually means another step up in quality. We love all of the moving pieces in this wine - pronounced citrus, with hints of grapefruit, peach, apple, all complimented by mineral undertones, great acidity, and lush finish. This is a great value wine under $30.
Fresh and balanced, with a citrusy overtone of grapefruit pith and citronella, this shows flavors of crunchy white peach, chive blossoms and minerally saline and stone, followed by a creamy finish.
Lifted and fresh aromas of green and Golden Delicious apples with subtle hints of lemon peel and white flowers grace the glass. The fleshy palate is generous with mixed stone fruits and blanched almonds, finishing with a pop of acidity.
