A consistently pleasing wine featuring ripe dark fruit balanced with cocoa and dried herbs, culminating in a long, elegant finish.
Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels (32% new)
We've been enjoying this one for a few years. It's always a crowd pleaser, even for your more discerning friends, that never disappoints. The fruit is front and center, but this is not a fruity wine. The ripe dark fruit is balanced with aromas and flavors of cocoa and dried herbs all the way through a long and elegant finish. This is a never-fails-to-please wine for any occasion.
Spiced and a little earthy with ripe plums, blackcurrants, cocoa and moist earth. Full-bodied, firm and tight with chalky tannins. Long and spicy. Tight at the end. A blend 83% cabernet sauvignon, 11% cabernet franc, 5% merlot and 1% petit verdot.
Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon (83%), this 2021 Red Wine Quartet has impressive amounts of black and blue fruits that give way to more leafy herb and chocolate notes with air. It's medium to full-bodied, has a round, supple mouthfeel, and outstanding length. It brings lots of fruit, yet it stays balanced and elegant.
