Hand-harvested grapes from special sites in Carneros and Coombsville are fermented then aged for roughly 2 years French oak barrel on the lees.

This is a powerful Chardonnay that is not like Napa Valley offerings we've tasted in the past. The winemaker clearly let this one oxidize by design, and the result is amazing. Orange and honey complimented by perfect acidity and a mineral undertone. The whole package is sophisticated and elegant where each sip begs for the next. What a Chardonnay!

The 2023 Chardonnay (Napa Valley) is a total stunner. Lemon confit, white flowers, tangerine peel, baked apple tart and lightly honeyed notes fill out the layers effortlessly. This large-scale, layered Chardonnay is exceptionally elegant and polished. Readers will find a Chardonnay of tremendous textural breadth and pedigree.
