A rich, concentrated, and complex Uco Valley Malbec
Aged 18 months in French oak barrels (39% new)
This is a more bold and powerful Malbec than what you might expect. We love the aromas and flavors of ripe dark berries, cocoa, coffee, baking spices. Both the acidity and the tannin are present but well balanced. Delicious!
Complex nose with notes of incense and sandalwood to the lush, minty blackberries, truffles and tar. Naturally concentrated, broad palate that’s packed with dense, invasive tannins which are polished and completely resolved, making it taste lighter. But don't get me wrong, this is still quite a full-bodied, powerful and assertive red. Very long. What else can you expect from malbec? Surprisingly drinkable now, but will age nicely. Better from 2024.
