An intensely rich, full-bodied classic Valpolicella Riserva
Grapes dry in well-ventilated lofts for 3–4 months; pressing occurs in January followed by a slow 15–25 day fermentation on skins. Wine is then aged 48 months in 50-75hL Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 12 months aging in bottle before release
This storied Riserva is a profound expression of Valpolicella, offering a complex symphony of dried cherry, warm spice, and deep balsamic notes. Rich and enveloping on the palate, it showcases impeccable balance with velvety tannins and a persistent, powerful finish. A true meditation wine and a testament to Zenato’s masterful winemaking.
Dense garnet, with a nose of walnut hausks, toasted black pepper, sour cherries and ash. Smooth and soft on the palate, with a full body and ripe, silky tannins balanced by zesty acidity. Lovely fruit with an extremely long, nutty aftertaste. Very attractive.
Rich fruity notes of black cherries jam, black berries, tobacco, mint. Rich, elegant, fine, tannins very delicate, intense and long final.
