A brilliant Super Tuscan blend, this Brancaia Il Blu delivers a symphony of dark fruit, spice, and earth. Aged in French oak, this wine boasts velvety tannins and a lingering finish, offering a harmonious balance of power and elegance.
Aged 18 months in wood barriques (67% new), an additional 3 months in concrete tanks, then aged in bottle for 12 months before release
This is a top end Super Tuscan that blends Merlot with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. It really delivers the goods with a well orchestrated blend of dark fruits, spice, and earthy undertones. It really compliments your favorite Italian fare or just some wine with friends. This one will impress.
Wow! Very powerful and layered in the sensory profile shows notes of black plums, prunes, hyacinth, coriander, black pepper, juniper berries and peppermint. Lots of eucalyptus describes the secondary scene of original workmanship. A marriage between tradition and modernity shows muscles but pleasant agility, concreteness and progressive vision. A masterpiece. Better from 2026.
The finesse and beauty of this wine are rather breathtaking, with currant, mint, spearmint, sandalwood and blackberry aromas that follow through engagingly to the palate. It starts off medium-bodied, but then grows on the palate and spreads out at the end with reserved fruit and superb tannins. Fantastic structure and balance. Needs five or six more years to come together.
