Williams Selyem's Sonoma Pinot Noir is highly acclaimed for its complex flavors and aromas, earning a remarkable 4.7 Vivino score.
Grapes were chosen from several vineyards along the Rode neighboring the Selyem Estate, then blended and aged in French oak (60% new) for 14 months
We will say this again and again. Pinot Noir is not our favorite, particularly those from California, but Williams Selyem is one of a healthy handful of wine makers that bring bigger and more complex flavors and aromas to the table. Selyem is just synonymous with fantastic Sonoma Pinot Noir. We have particularly found this one to be of note. The 4.7 Vivino score, which is fairly rarified air is really a demonstration that it is loved by both critics and wine lovers like you and us alike. This one never disappoints.
Tangy red fruit, crushed rock and notes of violet and rose permeate from the glass of this outstanding wine, a perennial showcase for the array of sites that consistently contribute to it. Well-structured and balanced, it is earthy and rich, with deliciously enticing accents of dried herb and mineral. Virginie Boone
The 2020 Pinot Noir Westside Road Neighbors has ripe aromatics of sun-ripened cherry fruit, cola spice, and sweet cedar. The palate floods with primary fruit, candied flowers, and forest floor.
