Rosso di Montalcino is a smooth, easy-drinking Sangiovese with ripe red fruit flavors and earthy notes, perfect for pairing with Italian cuisine.
Aged 6-7 months in large French oak vessels, then aged in bottle for an additional 3 months before release
Rosso di Montalcino is made in much the same way as Brunello di Montalcino, but without the stringent aging requirements. It's essentially an easy drinking Sangiovese from the Montalcino region of southern Tuscany. Delicious ripe red fruits, with some earthy and herbal notes. Great to accompany your favorite Italian fare.
Complex and authentic with a slightly herbaceous soul, it alternates notes of raspberries, currants, red flowers, lime, lemon peel and guarana. Medium body, soft tannins and a pleasant, good quality finish. Drink now.
