A versatile and exceptional Tempranillo from a renowned Rioja family, perfect with food or enjoyed on its own.
Aged 26 months in French oak casks
For us there is no discernible difference or drop off from the 2016 vintage. This is one of the families who really put Rioja as a powerful wine making region on the map. This another gem of a Tempranillo. It goes with just about everything, but we love it with Castelvetrano olives and/or Manchego cheese, or salt and pepper chips, or just in a glass without any distractions. For us there Enjoy!
This deep violet-colored wine has a bouquet of Chambord, crumbled sage and aniseed. Brambly fruit of the wood, dark chocolate, black olive paste and licorice flavors are set into plush tannins that coat the tongue and gums. A shining streak of acidity brightens the palate from first sip to finish.
Spicy oak to the black berries, blueberries and plums. Pretty fluid despite the medium to full body with nicely chewy tannins. Fine-grained, structured and long.
