A nearly decade-old Santa Maria Pinot, showcasing vibrant red fruits and sharp spices with beautiful acidity at its peak.
Fermented and aged in French oak barrels (38% new)
Now at nearly a decade old, the beautiful acidity of this wine is allowing some the brilliant red fruits and sharp spices to emerge, showcasing just how delicious a Santa Maria Pinot can be at its peak.
Light and fresh on the nose, this bottling only shows hints of age despite its seven-year-old status. Aromas of muddled strawberry and sharp peppercorn lead into a savory palate of cracked pepper, blistered tomato and cranberry, with a zesty acidity pumping into a complex finish.
