This is a great way to enjoy the flavors of the Douro Valley at a great price. Delicious!

Sandalwood and baking spice notes surround the bright raspberry tart and red plum reduction flavors of this full-bodied red. Vibrant acidity adds nice elegance, with details of Kalamata olive, black tea and anise soaring into the finish.

It shows a profusion of ripe fruits, reminiscent of plums and cassis, followed by floral notes, licorice and sweet spices, all balanced by adequate acidity and firm, grainy tannins, which give projection and fluidity to the wine.
