A bold, full-bodied wine with aromas of black cherry, plum, and spice, and a long, lingering finish.
Aged 20 months in French oak (50% new)
The floral notes jump out immediately here, giving way to a plethora of ripe fruits, dried herbs, and a touch of licorices. The flavors do not betray the nose and come with a lush mouthfeel and and long finish that draws you in for a second sip and so on. Delicious!
A wild and wonderful abundance of floral aromatics jumps from the glass of this powerfully structured wine. Sure, there are also currant and plum aromas on the nose as well juicy berry fruit and a nice streak of acid to balance the tannin on the palate but please, take time to stop and smell the flowers.
