This is a 2nd label from Alpha Omega, who makes 100-point wine after 100-point wine. We will have some of those on this list in short order. Until then, this offering It is just a good everyday red wine on the bigger side, which comes from a just under a year in oak, with great fruit and licorice and savory herb. Open, pour, enjoy. Winemaker Notes: On the nose: Explosion of fresh cherries, violets, hints of marzipan, cherry pits, Campari, vanilla beans, almond and milk chocolate. One the palate: Fresh entrance opening to fine-grained tannins with notes of chocolate sauce, cookie dough, fresh cherry, root beer and wild herbs.
