Occasional Wine Note: This wine has the lowest critic rating in our inventory with a 90, but we think more highly of it than that. This is a 2nd label from Alpha Omega, who makes 100-point wine after 100-point wine. This offering is just a really good everyday red wine on the bigger side. It's made from younger grapes with just under a year in oak, making it that much more approachable right away. It has great fruit and licorice and savory herbs. Open, pour, enjoy. This will never disappoint.

Wine Maker Notes: On the nose: Explosion of fresh cherries, violets, hints of marzipan, cherry pits, Campari, vanilla beans, almond and milk chocolate. One the palate: Fresh entrance opening to fine-grained tannins with notes of chocolate sauce, cookie dough, fresh cherry, root beer and wild herbs.
