Occasional Wine Note: Oh Meursault, how we love the White Burgundies of Meursault. What a fabulous representation here. This probably could use another couple of years in the bottle, but there is a lot going on here now. The citrus fruit here is just delicious, and the oak is evident in the caramel and biscotti notes as well as that slight touch of butter. Fantastic!

Mid lemon yellow. Power is immediately evident on the nose. Ripe orchard fruit with plenty of flesh on the palate. The oak shows a little more, both vanilla and biscuit, at the moment. So less together, lactic and buttery, but I would tip this to pull its back into balance. Drink from 2029-2038.
