Occasional Wine Note: Want an affordable Bordeaux that delivers? Bam! This one's big and brings layers of flavor and aromas - ripe dark fruits, tobacco, baking spices, and present but not overpowering tannin. For best results, decant for at least an hour or hold on to this gem for another 5 years or so.

Needs time to open. Marvellous mineral aspects and salinity with superior tannic grain. Time in glass reveals cigar box from the Cabernet, plus high-toned raspberry, ripe plum and cedar. Cellar at least three years before enjoying. Potential for a higher score later.
