Occasional Wine Note: Sardinia is known for 2 grapes, Vermentino and this here Cannonau. Cannonau is the same as Grenache or Garnacha. We wanted to bring you a wine representative of just how good Sardinian Cannonau can be and this one really delivers the goods. Ripe dark fruits, cocoa, dried herbs, great tannin, all lending to a great mouthfeel and an overall fantastic wine drinking experience. Delish!

    Critic Score: 94

A beautifully curated and polished young red with black berry, violet, and bark. Full and velvety with creamy textured tannins and a flavorful finish. Juicy.

  • Wine Spectator

    Critic Score: 91

A rich, fragrant red, with floral hints of violet and tea rose on the nose accenting flavors of roasted plum, black cherry puree, dark chocolate and dried sage. Round and fresh, this medium- to full-bodied version has supple tannins firming the dark and juicy, graphite-laced finish. Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale and Malvasia.
